Резюме
Настоящият обзор разглежда основните фактори, допринасящи за възникването на инфекции на меките тъкани, както и тяхната роля при прогнозиране на оздравителния процес. Анализирани са широко използваните количествени и качествени микробиологични методи, като е сравнена тяхната диагностична стойност при идентификация на инфекция и оценка на хода на заздравяване. Оценена е ефективността на инвазивните и неинвазивните техники за вземане на проби от суспектни инфектирани рани, с оглед тяхната приложимост в клиничната практика.
